Directly Support Services for Survivors of Human Trafficking

Organizations We Believe In

The following organizations are non-profit victims service agencies that directly help the victims of human trafficking through counseling, shelter, education and various other services necessary to transform a survivor into a "thriver."  Do you have time for volunteering? Mentoring? Extra resources or finances to give? Do you know of someone who does? Each of the below organizations are hard at work creating safe havens for the victims; accompanying them on the long, complicated path of restoration.  And, each of these organizations could use your help.  Learn more by clicking on their links:
  • Alabaster Jar Project
  • Bilateral Safety Corridor Coalition
  • California Against Slavery
  • Children of the Immaculate Heart
  • Generate Hope
  • International Network of Hearts
  • Mary's Guest House
  • North County Lifeline Project Life
  • Refuge for Women
  • Salvation Army Door of Hope
  • San Diego Youth Services iCARE and STARS
  • Shining Stars
  • Sisters of the Streets
  • The Well Path
As a border region, our well being is interconnected with our neighbors in Mexico and human trafficking is a problem on both sides of the border. Here are some wonderful organizations doing similar work in Tijuana and Baja California:
  • Mexico-Red
  • Selah House
  • Mujeres Nuevo Comienzo
  • Hope Village

Prayer for Direct Services Organizations

We have reached out to San Diego organizations who provide direct care to those who have been trafficked, including women with children. These are the specific issues that they have requested prayer for during this time:

Crisis House
  • Prayers to keep our doors open so we may continue our work with domestic violence survivors and their children.
  • Prayers for our clients that they may find light in the darkness.
International Network of Hearts
  • Our children are having a hard time with COVID restrictions keeping people from being able to visit. They are doing their best to stay occupied and keep a positive attitude, but isolation can be hard.
GenerateHope

  • Praise: The house has been filled with peace and joy!
  • Praise: Residents are desiring to learn more about studying the Bible
  • Prayer Request: Looking to hire for our Resident Guide position, a woman with a heart to do life with survivors at our Recovery Program (Learn more: generatehope.org/dream team)
North County Project Life
  • Clients to find long term housing with EHV's
  • For people to apply and be a good fit for open positions on PL Team
  • Healing for clients through therapy and case management
  • Job opportunities for client's applying for new positions
  • Healthy staff and clients during Covid spikes
Refuge for Women
  • CHOSEN: Please pray that our residents would be reminded daily that they are sincerely and purposefully chosen by God!
  • STRENGTH: The ladies are desiring closeness with God, and some have started to memorize scripture. Pray that they would be strengthened in their faith in God and faith in themselves through this!
  • CONFIDENCE: Please pray that God would mark each resident with confidence and freedom to be the woman He created them to be! Pray for the women to receive their self-worth from God alone.
  • ACCEPTANCE: Each resident is on a journey of accepting and loving herself, potentially for the first time in her life. Pray that God would speak into the places where she feels less-than or damaged. Pray for a spirit of Hope and Redemption to constantly rest on our Refuge Home.
  • COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Please pray for favor and meaningful opportunities for Refuge SoCal to connect with community groups and churches in this season. If your small group or church would like to schedule a Service Day to bless our residents, please contact Alison at alison.dulay@refugeforwomen.org.
  • TEAM MEMBERS: Please pray for God to bring a Development Director and Resident Shift Lead to our Refuge team! If you or someone you know would be a great fit for either position, please apply on our website: refugeforwomen.org/careersandinterns/"

Join us in prayer to lift up the specific needs of those affected by increased vulnerabilities during this crisis.

Each of the below organizations are hard at work creating safe havens for the victims; accompanying them on the long, complicated path of restoration. And, each of these organizations could use your help. The people exploited by the commercial sex industry are even more at risk today because of the volatility in our world.
